Extract from a letter from a client in constant pain. Full letter:

6^th November 2006

Dear Hilary,

Just a short note to say “thank you” for what you have done, not just for me, but for my family. When I first came to see you, if you remember, I told you that basically I was a disbeliever and would probably have one treatment and no more. I can still see your knowing smile.

If you remember I had been in constant pain with the chest complaint costochondritis for over five years. The only way of getting through a day was taking between four and six strong painkillers. These drugs had really bad side affects with blood pressure and bowel movements. The side affects were giving me a need to take other drugs to compensate for the painkillers.

I remember asking you if you were going to “put me under” with a watch on a chain. You laughed and then started the treatment. When you had finished and I was fully awake the pain had altered. You asked me to make a new appointment, which I attended and then a further one. At the third visit you provided me with my personalised CD which I have used once or twice a week.

Since we first meet I have not taken a pain killer, dropped other drugs and for the first time in years I have no pain!

This has made a major difference to all our family lives. I can do activities with the kids that I could do before but with days of intense pain afterwards.

I have recommended you to several friends and even my GP took your details!

Once again “Thank You” You have given me my life back pain free.
