I have over 15 years experience in
therapy and I love my work. I'm an Accredited Member with the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy. My experience has been gained from a variety of settings. I have
worked in the NHS taking GP referrals, a University counselling service, further education college and
a large public sector organisation.
My journey into psychotherapy started in 2002 when I began training in clinical hypnotherapy and NLP which I found both fascinating and effective in bringing about positive change. I then went
on to train at degree level in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Warwick University and have since received
accreditation from BACP.
Looking back it's clear that my
own personal struggle in my early twenties with anxiety and panic attacks coupled with the realisation of how limiting mental health problems can be propelled me to train as a therapist. I understand
how hard it is to make that first contact.
